Privacy policy

The short version

This is a personal portfolio. It has no advertising, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party marketing cookies. The only personal data it holds is what you type into the contact form.

What the contact form collects

Your name, email address, and optionally your company, budget range and message. It is used for one thing: replying to you. It is not added to a mailing list, and it is not sold or shared with anyone.

Messages are delivered to my inbox and retained there while the enquiry is live and for a reasonable period afterwards. Ask me to delete yours and I will.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure loading performance. Both are cookieless and do not build a profile of you or track you across other websites. No personally identifying information is collected. That is also why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard server request data such as IP address and user agent in order to serve pages and mitigate abuse. That is handled under Vercel’s own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask what data I hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask me to delete it. Email contact@shepherrd.dev and I’ll respond within one business day.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
